The Briggs & Stratton 400 Amp Split Service Transfer Switch implements both switches into a single package, simplifying installation for a cleaner, neater appearance.

This 26kW Briggs and Stratton Generator includes the Symphony II 400 Amp Split Service Automatic Transfer Switch with a Service Entrance Rated Disconnect (SED.)

Symphony II Power Management controls up to eight circuits with low voltage modules, dual low voltage modules, and 50-amp line voltage modules. Module priority is set during installation. Your installer will determine the appropriate modules to use when planning the installation.

TIP Where temperatures fall below 30 degrees Fahrenheit, install a battery warmer (sold separately) and oil warmer (sold separately) to ensure fast, easy starts. In below freezing temperatures, a warm battery provides more power for starting the generator. Warm oil lubricates better, which prolongs engine life and makes it easier to start.

ALL Briggs and Stratton 26kW Generator installations require the use of a Carbon Monoxide Detector inside the home to guard against CO Poisoning.
