The Kohler 14kW Standby Generator with RDC2 Controller is an automatic backup generator. 10 Seconds after the power goes out, the Kohler 14kW generator automatically restores power to your business equipment, appliances, HVAC, lights, and conveniences. Starts and runs a 5-ton air conditioner while keeping the rest of the building powered.

Includes the Kohler Home Energy Remote Management System.

Kohler’s premium limited warranty covers parts, labor, and travel for 5-Years or 2000 Hours.

14kW Kohler Generator

14kW Kohler Generator has a V-Twin 725cc 4-Cycle engine for reliable power in any weather conditions and exceptional power for starting heavy loads. Hydraulic lifters eliminate costly adjustments and long break-in periods. The Kohler 14 kW provides an exceptional 54 kVA peak motor-starting capacity (at 240V and 480V) for large motors like air conditioners or deep well pumps without interrupting power to other parts of the house.

Excellent power quality with digital voltage and frequency regulation and low harmonic distortion for sensitive electronics like computers, modern appliances, even medical equipment. The RDC2 controller manages the generator and the transfer switch.

Required: Automatic Standby Generators require an automatic transfer switch (Kohler RXT ATS Recommended—sold separately.) The ATS controls the source of power to your business and isolates generator power from utility power lines. It can supply just your most critical and essential circuits or the entire building. Office equipment works, router, WiFi, Refrigerators and freezers stay cold. Pumps runs when it should. The furnace and air conditioner keep the building warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
