The Champion 22kW whole house generator with 200-Amp Automatic Transfer Switch automatically restores power to your home seconds after an outage hits. For a few hours, a few days, or even weeks, the Champion 22kW keeps your entire home up and running with all the important essentials and conveniences.

Champion Standby Generators received Consumer Reports ratings of Best Buy and Recommended. They produce utility grade power with less than 5% Total Harmonic Distortion (THD). The unique gull-wing enclosure is aluminum-zinc coated steel.

The 22kW Generator uses 20 percent less fuel than competing models at average load. It features the industry’s most powerful starting system (24-volts) for fast, reliable starts down to -22˚ F.

aXis is a programable and upgradable home generator system with wireless access to options. Power Line Carrier technology eliminates control wiring between the generator and the ATS and the Load Control Modules*. The aXis management system allows a smaller and more efficient generator to power larger homes without the expense of a larger generator that may use fuel less efficiently.

Assign the aXis load management modules* a priority level from 1-4 to define how the system manages your generator power. Lock out heavy loads that don’t need power during an outage or assign them the lowest priority. Champion rates each load management module* at 240 volts, 50 amps. The transfer switch and load management modules* have a NEMA 3R rating for indoor and outdoor installation.

Summary

The 22kW Champion Home Generator starts and runs automatically. Seconds after the outage hits, the generator starts and signals the 200-Amp Service Entrance ATS. The transfer switch isolates the utility lines from the home and connects the generator to the main circuit breaker panel to restore power.

Power restoration takes less than a minute.

The generator operates at just 67 dBA while it supplies both 120-Volt and 240-Volt loads through your home’s main circuit breakers. It runs on the existing natural gas or propane supply. In the case of natural gas, the generator has an inexhaustible supply of fuel. With the correct size storage tank, the generator could run for weeks on propane.

Champion’s 10-Year Standard Warranty is the longest on the home standby market.
